Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad

Monday, July 26th, 2010

One of northeast Ohio’s best attractions is the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.

Operating through much of the year, the train takes riders along a beautiful route between Cleveland and Akron.

Here are some of the sites and places that make the train ride so enjoyable: Meadowland, trees, marshes, rivers, animals, ravines, small towns, a farm and access to miles of bike and hike trails.

Ohio has many opportunities for people whether they live here, are visiting for a day or are considering Ohio for a new job.

Some people may fault Ohio for overcast skies and snow. Sure, you can get more sun in Florida or Arizona. But those states can have oppressive heat. Ohio has the change of seasons, which can be a beautiful thing (in contrast to brutal part of an Ohio weather).

Ohio attractions aren’t just amusement parks – that’s a fact. Check out any of the counties in Ohio and you’ll find an array of museums, national parks, zoos and much more. If you’re willing to travel in Ohio, you can encounter many terrific places.
